FAQ
What does "CTGP" stand for?
CTGP is an acronym that stands for "Custom Track Grand Prix", which is a family of Mario Kart mods developed by separate groups of passionate developers that share common features and goals. Originally started with CTGP Revolution for Mario Kart Wii, later adopted by CTGP-7 for Mario Kart 7, and CTGP Nitro for Mario Kart DS.
What languages are currently supported?
All languages present in the base game are available, thanks to the efforts of the Mario Kart Translation Project community! If you'd like to help with translations, you can join their Discord server.
Why is the Online Play option gone?
This is a temporary solution to a few problems that arose during development which would've delayed the release of the mod by longer. Due to bans and changes in netcode, we've decided to cut this feature and will focus on implementing it in a future update.
Can I play with other people?
Yes! While Online Play isn't available, Local, Wireless, and LAN Multiplayer work. Make sure everyone has their communication mode set to CTGP Deluxe in the settings menu.
Will I get banned for playing CTGP Deluxe?
By playing CTGP Deluxe, you take full responsibility for putting your console at risk.
Please review our Disclaimer for more details.
Can I use the CTGP Deluxe Soundtrack in videos/mods?
You can! If you're using the soundtrack in your own project, you must credit it properly by linking to the video of the track or tracks you're using. This applies to the CTGP Deluxe Soundtrack ONLY! For the other community-made remixes, please reach out to them first.
How can I report a bug?
You can report bugs in our Discord Server! There's the #bug-reports channel for bugs related to the mod in general, as well as the #ct-feedback forum channel with posts for each custom track.
Is there any copyrighted music in the mod?
All music in the mod is either a new remix by the CTGP Deluxe Music Team, music by the community, or music taken from other video games. All details are available in the Credits page. Some streaming sites are stricter than others when it comes to video game music (like Twitch), so do keep that in mind if you plan on streaming the mod!
